These films showcase successful ecological restorations from around the world, demonstrating that landscape scale restoration is possible and the social, economic and environmental benefits that flow from them.
The Expert Panel:
Chair, Professor Richard Hobbs, Senior Laureate Fellow, University of Western Australia. Ecological Society of Australia Gold Medal recipient 2010. The Gold Medal recognises Richard’s significant contribution to ecology in Australia, through his research in both theoretical and applied aspects of restoration ecology, and his role in improving communications amongst scientists and with practitioners in ecosystem management.
Dr Tein McDonald, Editor of the Ecological Restoration and Management Journal and an ecological management and restoration consultant.
Professor Jann Williams, Adjunct Professor at the Tasmanian Institute of Agricultural Research, Natural Resource Management, University of Tasmania.
Dr Sarah Ryan, Chair of the ACT Natural Resource Management Council.
