The kit was prepared from funding recieved from the National Devolved Grant for the Conservation of Temperate Grassy Ecosystems in South East Australia, a program initiated through the Natural Heritage Trust and devolved to World Wide Fund for Nature Australia, and with additional funding from the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service and the Arthur Rylah Institute, Department of Sustainability and Environment Victoria.
The authors would like to especially thank Bernadette O'Leary (WWF) for technical, editorial and production assistance, Peter Mills (Environment ACT) who, together with Sarah Sharp, developed the original ACT Grassland Reserve management plans on which this kit is based, Nicole Webb and Ann Prescott for input into development ideas for inclusion in the kit (Ann developed Reference Table G, which is used with her permission) and Michael Treanor, Nina Bishop and Claire Wimpenny for assistance in preparation of the management kit.
The authors especially wish to acknowledge all the people who have influenced their thinking on conservation of grassy ecosystems, and all those people who care about them and their future.
